If you pick up a copy of this month's "First For Women Magazine" and leaf over to page 112, you will find me in their "First Blush" section revealing one of my many embarrassing moments. (You can find this magazine at magazine stands across America.)
The photo - with which I'm very happy - is by photographer Fernando Cepeda. And San Diego makeup artist, Mary Erickson, did my makeup; I swear I look ten years younger! Thanks, Mary, 'Nando, and First For Women Magazine!
This brought back some wild and crazy memories of 15 years ago when Mark and I were involved in producing "Full Cycle: A World Odyssey" video, an around-the-world adventure with mountain bikes to the mountainous wilds of nine different countries - USA, Canada, Costa Rica, Wales, Greece, Switzerland, Tahiti, Australia and India.
It just goes to show you that we need to get out there into nature when we still have our youth, our health and our adventuresome spirit. None of us can count on what will happen tomorrow, so do it today!
